Introduction

CFLT is the local runcontrol for the Calorimeter First Level Trigger[1]. The code runs on 19, NIKHEF 2-Transputer Module (2TP), [2] [3] located in the ZEUS hall on the third floor of the rucksack racks C-1-1 through C-1-10 and the bottom crate of rack C-2-10. The purpose of CFLT is to download the lookup tables for the ZEUS Trigger Encoder and Adder Cards[1]. It also has the ability to shut off noisy trigger channels and to do VME transfers to any crate in the CFLT. In addition it allows the user to interactively create his own commands by simply opening command files called PROCS.

The CFLT code was written using the IMS D605 - OCCAM 2 Toolset [4] and can be found on the VAX machine CALTEC. To run the code login as TEST_TRIG using the usual password1, and type CFLT. The code requires power to the CFLT crates, to the CFLTP, and to a transputer in the Calorimeter crates. See the online help on CALTEC for power up instructions for the CFLT. The source code can be found in the directory d1:[public.qtoccam.runcontrolxyz] on CALTEC, where xyz is the latest version number. The file CFLT.BLD contains all of the commands to compile CFLT_WITH_MONITOR.BTL which is the OCCAM bootable file. To compile the code, type @CFLT.BTL.
