The Run Control Server is a program which is an interface between the ZEUS main run control and the Calorimeter First Level Trigger's (CFLT's) transputer based run control. Its basic purpose is to download the OCCAM code to the CFLT transputers, listen for messages from the ZEUS main run control, and perform the proper transitions based on the messages received. First, this ZEUS Note will explain the philosophy of and structure behind the code. Then, it will define the commands that can be passed between the run control server processes. Finally, it will give some information on how the code is written, and how to add new processes.
