What To Do - Power Up CFLT

Power Up Steps

  1. Make sure the GFLT is running(the control room will know.) Without the GFLT, we will not have clocks.
  2. Turn off all crate switches. There are 4 switches per crate and 16 crates. The switches are located behind the CFLT crates under cover pannels. Racks C-1-2 to Rack C-1-4, and Racks C-1-8 to Rack C-1-10.
  3. Turn off the 2 CFLTP switches on the front of the CFLTP (Rack C-1-6) in the proper order(lower one first).
  4. Turn off the 3 Fast Clear switches on the front of the Fast Clear racks. (Racks C-1-5 and C-1-7)
  5. To turn on the racks at the main power box, you need the key. Turn on racks C-1-1 up to C-1-11, and rack C-2-10 at the main power box by pressing the red button, if it is in the recessed position, followed by the green button, while turning the key. If the green button doesn't illuminate, press red then green again. IF the racks still don't power up, check that the fan circuit breaker switches are all in the on position(down.) They are located at the top of each rack in the back. Any more trouble probably comes from loose connections in the main power box.

NB: In order to power up racks C-1-1 through C-1-10 you will need to have the CFLT power key inserted into the lock near these buttons and turned and held while simultaneously pressing the green power buttons.

  6. Turn on the CFLTP(rack C-1-6.); two switches in the proper order
  7. On the CFLTP terminal (at floor level by the CFLTP), type:

    powerup

  8. Power on the bottom crate of Rack C-2-10 by pressing the power switch (located on the right most card) up.
  9. Login to CFLT02 under the CFLT account password XXXXXXXX.
  10. Quickly turn on all CFLT crates with the switches covered by the cover panels behind the rack.
  11. On the CFLT terminal type:

    POWERUP

Watch for error messages; after a few seconds, you should see the message "You are safe now". (You can also watch TEC lights flash in the rucksack to know if things are happening.)

  12. Turn on the Fast Clear crates, C-1-5 and C-1-7.
  13. IMPORTANT: Check the items on the powerup checklist. Power cycling is stressful on the CFLT and many hardware problems can occur.
